Snow still covered the ground on Monday February 1, 2010 at my house(72 hours after the precip. ended). Unfortunately, I tried to make a snowman with Dylan on Saturday, but the snow was too powdery. By Monday, the snow had become wet enough to give it another try. I waited for Dylan to get home from school and surprised him with a quick snowball fight, which I had planned to lead into the building of our snowman. He was so excited when I first mentioned it. He helped me start, and we were having such a good time we stopped so we could have Kellie join in the fun. We had to improvise on the accesories though, due to a lack of readily available snowman supplies. The eyes, mouth, and buttons were done with old poker chips. The arms were a couple of branches we cut and shaped, and we used a scarf of Kellie's around it's neck. The nose was initally half of a banana, however it fell off overnight. So, I replaced it with another poker chip. In all, we built a pretty decent snowman, by OK standards, before I had to leave for work. Below are a few pics of the fun.
