Snow still covered the ground on Tuesday February 2, 2010 at my house(96 hours after the precip. ended). I just was not done playing in the snow!!! A few days earlier I climbed up on a ladder and shoveled some snow off of the roof, in part due to roof damage from a baseball sized hail storm in 2009 that we just got insurance money for, and in part just because I wanted to make a big pile of snow. OK, probably more due to the latter. Anyway, I piled up a bunch of snow and tried to make me and Dylan an igloo. I got a decent sized opening...eventually. To compare, my brother in Colorado always has awesome igloos every winter. They do have multiple storms and get to slowly work on them over the course of the whole winter too. I thought mine turned out good, considering I was working with snow from only one storm, and I basically did it in one morning before Dylan went to school in the afternoon.
