We spent a weekend at the in-laws place at Lake Eufaula, so I decided to run over to the Illinois River to try some fishing. Kellie surprisingly came with me. Due to antecedent rainfall and the unusually high level of Lake Tenkiller, water flow through the damn was wide-open. After taking a look at the current immediately below the dam, we headed downstream to Marvel's. I made a few casts in vain before I decided I was pissing in the wind. We headed back to the in-laws.
