Late Autumn Chase

Dynamics were spectacular and hinting at the possibility of a good late autumn chase day. Mike was able to get off of work and go with me for a quick pre-work chase. A storm fired early to the SW of Oklahoma City, became tornado warned, and we intercepted it in Edmond on Waterloo Rd. This proved to be a mistake due to traffic, and we quickly turned around and headed to Guthrie to get in better position. The storm approached us again with a wall cloud between Guthrie and Tryon on Hwy 105. It began to hail and the wall cloud started to rotate. We headed east as the cell began to become disorganized. We went south back toward I-40 to intercept a storm that was near Norman at the time. That storm also became disorganized as it split into two cells. We called it a day and went to stuff our faces with tacos to celebrate our rare November chase before I went into work.
